asking for help sucks.

you hate to bother your friends/family because you know how busy they are even though they reassure you that it's "fine".

you offer to pay them for their time even though you know they'll never accept money from you.

the longer they are there helping, the more the guilt eats away at you so you rush to finish or thank them for their time and finish up alone.
 
and now you’re waiting for it. you're committed to help them the next time they ask and you just knooooow it'll be at the most inconvenient time and likely take waaaay longer than the time they gave you.
 
SO, you just don’t ever ask. you do it all yourself, or pay a hefty sum for a company to get it done for you.
